My Wednesday Wish for You: Shake Up the Routine

This week, I hope you’ll do one thing—just one thing—differently.

Take a new route to work. Try a restaurant you’ve never stepped into. Cook something out of your usual rotation. Say yes to something you usually say no to. Step outside your well-worn rhythms and see what’s waiting.

There’s a reason routines are comfortable—they’re predictable, efficient, and familiar. But growth? Growth doesn’t live in the comfort zone. It lives just past it. That’s where creativity sparks, perspectives shift, and confidence builds.

When we mix things up, we engage different parts of our brain. We become more alert. We notice more. And sometimes, we discover something unexpectedly good—a new favorite place, a talent we didn’t know we had, or a way of thinking that helps us solve a long standing problem.

So this week, stretch yourself. Make one small change. Shake up your daily autopilot and invite in curiosity. You might find a new groove, a new joy, or a new strength you didn’t know you had.
