Are you investing the time and resources to grow personally and professionally?

How well do you articulate your value?
My Wednesday Wish for you is strong articulation of your value.
Too often, when we’re asked, “What do you do?” we either ramble through a laundry list of tasks, or freeze and give an answer so vague it lands flat. The truth is, how you describe your work should shift depending on the situation—and the key is to spark curiosity, not close the door.
Think of it like this: your elevator speech—or really, your quip—is short, engaging, and designed to make the listener want to ride further with you. It’s not a detailed download of everything you do (that would make them want to jump off at the next floor!). Instead, it’s a simple frame: “I work with ____ to help them ____ so that they can ____.” That clarity makes you relevant and memorable.
Your living room speech goes deeper. Here, you invite the listener to imagine themselves in relationship with you. You share examples, pose questions, and help them visualize what success could look like if they partnered with you.
Finally, your kitchen speech is where the real work begins. You roll up your sleeves and dig in—exploring needs, aspirations, and vision together. This is where you uncover what truly matters and how you can help make it happen.
The art is knowing which room you’re in—and articulating the right message for the right moment.
My Wednesday Wish for you is to practice clarity, relevance, and curiosity so your value shines through in every setting.
