Are you investing the time and resources to grow personally and professionally?

Here’s some advice to unite, not divide.
My Wednesday Wish for you is openness.
It’s tempting to believe everything we think, isn’t it? Our thoughts feel certain, familiar, and safe. But when we close ourselves off to other perspectives, we stop growing. We shrink our world into only what we already know—and in doing so, we limit our ability to connect, learn, and lead.
Confidence and intuition are powerful gifts, and I will always encourage you to trust them. At the same time, no one has all the answers. When we are too adamant about our position, we often
stop being heard. Our certainty can unintentionally shut down dialogue, keeping us frominfluencing or even being understood by those who disagree.
What if instead we leaned into curiosity? What if, instead of resisting ideas that challenge us, we asked, “What can I learn here? Where might there be common ground?” Often, we discover that beneath differing opinions lie shared hopes, values, and goals. Those are the places where bridges are built, and unity is possible.
Stretching into ideas that at first feel uncomfortable doesn’t mean abandoning your truth, it means expanding your perspective. It means adding depth to your wisdom. It means choosing growth over rigidity.
So, this week, I hope you’ll practice not believing everything you think. Listen, learn, and look for common threads. You may be surprised at how much more connects us than divides us.
