Assess you values and increase your value.
My Wednesday Wish for You: To Assess Your Values—and Your Value
Knowing your power starts with knowing what you stand for.
Assess.
Assess your values—and assess your value.
When you’re clear on your values, you gain clarity in your choices. You know what you’ll say yes to—and just as importantly, what you’ll say no to. Your values become your compass.
Start by identifying 3–5 words that define who you are at your core. Then take it further: define what those words actually mean in your life.
If contribution is a value, how do you live it? Is it through your time, your resources, or your leadership?
If you value growth, does that mean reading regularly, trying new things, or nurturing deeper relationships?
If service resonates with you, where do you show up? At home? In your community? For causes that matter?
When you assess your values, you step into a new kind of power—the kind that allows you to say yes or no without apology. You begin to make decisions rooted in alignment, not obligation.
You show up more fully, more confidently, and more authentically.
And here’s the beautiful part: when you live your values, you see your value. Others see it, too.
You bring more to the table—not because you’re trying harder, but because you’re clearer.
So, what are your values? Are you living them? Can others tell?
My Wednesday wish for you is this: may your values guide you, ground you, and give you the courage to live boldly in your worth.
